'Arjuntina'-Bound Khatron Ke Khiladi Really Doesn't Like Ceiling Fans

Mumbai: The fear of flying is called Aerophobia.

The fear of Spiders is called Arachnophobia.

The fear of heights is called Acrophobia.

Arjun Kapoor suffers from none of the above but this "superman, Salman ka fan" is no fan of the ceiling fan. That's a fairly cheesy bit of a tongue twister, but it's also true. The 30-year-old actor has been roped in to host the latest season of reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi and was speaking to NDTV after the launch event when he shared this information.

Arjun has a thing about ceiling fans. "I don't HATE ceiling fans but they make me really, really uncomfortable," he said. That's a phobia or something like one, although we couldn't find a name for fear of ceiling fans. Yes, we Googled.

This is the first time that Arjun will host a TV show that has had some very big stars hosting it previously. He does, however, want to bring his own brand of humour to it.

"I hosted a show for the first time in IIFA which was also showed on television. But here I plan to do my own thing and discover myself through this show," Arjun said.

When asked whether he would be trying out all the stunts the contestants are supposed to perform, Arjun said that he didn't want to disclose everything right now. "I am going to play it by the ear. It's my debut as a television host. It feels like I am doing Ishaqzaade all over again. So I want to enjoy and I don't want to plan too much," is all he would say. After being shot in South Africa for the last two years, Khiladi's latest season will be filmed in Argentina.

Make that 'ARJUNTINA' - that's what Arjun Kapoor would you to call it.
